BEAVERCREEK — From cautious anticipation to flat out excitement to concern, shoppers are split on the next big step in reopening Ohio.
Cooper Roberts of Beavercreek says “We need to social distance and that’s a key part of getting better but I think it’s good to start getting back out there.”
Bree Latting of Fairborn says, “So I’m ready for everything to be opening.”
Jaylon Smith, a Wilberforce University student, says it’s too early.
Customers are also split on wearing masks.
Employees will be required to wear masks but it is up to businesses to decide whether customers be required to wear them.
WHIO asked our viewers on Facebook how they feel about reopening retail and wearing masks in the post below.
We want to hear from you: Do you plan to return as soon as establishments are open? And do you plan on wearing a mask?

One user, John O’Neil, is adamantly against masks.
“I will absolutely NOT wear a mask," commented O’Neil. “If a place requires it, I will take my money other places.”
On the other side of the debate, user Dani Johnson wants to support places with strict guidelines.
“If I DO have to go out, it will be the businesses with strict requirements (such as mask wearing) that will get my business,” commented Johnson.
