WHIO Radio host Larry Hansgen is working from home while awaiting his son’s coronavirus test results.

Hansgen will still be on air though.

“With my laptop computer, I am able to remotely link into the studio computer," said Hansgen

Hansgen has been covering the coronavirus on his radio show Miami Valley Morning News.

“We do news stories that are about other people and what they’re going through,” said Hansgen. “This one, it literally hits home.”

Larry’s 25-year-old son is waiting at home for his coronavirus test results. He is expecting his results for seven to ten days.

“We’re going to be cautious, because that’s what you’ve got to do,” said Hansgen.

Larry is following the same advice that he has been giving viewers.

“Wash your hands. Take a walk. Get plenty of exercise. Drink plenty of water. And we’ll see you on the other side," said Hansgen.

You can hear from Hansgen every morning on WHIO Radio.
