Coronavirus: Young boys visit Kettering grandma in quarantine through window

As is the case for many senior citizens, Janie Bolden was put into quarantine recently to help prevent her from contracting the Coronavirus.

She broke her hip two weeks ago, and has been recovering at the Lincoln Park Manor nursing home in Kettering, unable to take visitors.

This didn’t stop her two grandsons, Adam Bolden and Kaden Isaacs, from finding a way to make their grandmother smile.

The boys started visiting her through her nursing home window, and holding full conversations with their grandma through a cell phone.

“She was down, really depressed, not motivated to do her rehab,” Adam Bolden said. “[But now], she looks better, she feels better. she’s staying motivated and we think she’ll be home pretty soon.”

Janie is extremely appreciative of the visits, saying, “I don’t know what I’d do without seeing you.”
