At the Dayton Mall, about 50 to 75 people were in line or in their cars waiting for the doors to open at 11 a.m., and by noon nearly 300 shoppers were in the mall, said a News Center 7 reporter.

Through the reopening process, employees are required to wear masks. However, it is up to businesses to decide whether customers are required to wear masks.

Many customers at the Dayton Mall appear to be wearing masks and some stores, such as Forever 21, are requiring that customers wear a mask.
