South Park art teacher creating homemade masks for local nurses

The Butler County General Health District (BCGHD), in collaboration with the Butler County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), is instituting a weekly donation drop off for Butler County from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Community members, businesses and organizations are encouraged to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, N95 masks, surgical masks, gowns, face shields and sanitizing supplies like hand sanitizers and cleaning sprays and wipes.

BCGHD is pleased to announce they are accepting homemademasks as well, they stated in a release.

Donations will be given to first responders, healthcare workers and other frontline organizations active in the COVID-19 response.

Drop offs can be made at the Butler County Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
