Montgomery County has announced anyone with food stamps that has experienced a power outage lasting longer than four hours can receive replacement benefits.

If you are a current recipient of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and have experienced a power outage of four hours or more, you can go to The Job Center, located at 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., until 5 p.m. Friday, July 14.

Fill out a "Request for Replacement for Food Assistance" form when you get there. Montgomery County Job & Family Services will verify your power outage with Dayton Power and Light to finalize your replacement eligibility.

Do not contact DP&L about SNAP benefits.
