Deputies arrest ‘person of interest’ in deadly shooting outside Napoleon’s Palace

JEFFERSON TWP. — A man was killed and another person was injured after a shooting at a bar on Germantown Pike early Friday morning.

Lavar Bagley, 43, of Trotwood, was identified as the victim who was killed, according to Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger.

Friday afternoon deputies arrested Gregory Bush Jr., 39, of Jefferson Twp., on suspicion of murder and deputies called him a “person of interest” in the shooting. Bush was arrested at his home on Vanguard Avenue.

Deputies and medics responded to Napoleon’s Palace in the 4100 block of Germantown Pike just after midnight, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Bagley was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his neck. He died on the scene

The second shooting victim was taken to Grandview Medical Center with injuries not considered life-threatening.
