Two people were taken into custody Dec. 13 as a result of a traffic stop conducted in the 700 block of Echo Street.
Matthew J. Broerman, 28, of St. Henry, and Angel A. Stork, 29, of Celina, of St. Henry, were both booked into the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility for possession of drugs, according to a release. The judge set their bond at $50,000.
A K-9 unit indicated the presence of narcotics and a search was conducted on the car.
Drug paraphernalia and a baggie with white crystal-like substances, which tested positive for meth, was located.

In an arrest unrelated to the traffic stop, a 20-year-old Celina woman also was taken into custody Dec. 13 as a result of a search warrant in the 300 block of Stella Street.
Paige K. King was booked into the Mercer County jail for possession of drugs, read the release. The judge set her bond at $50,000.
Numerous drugs, such as marijuana and crystal meth, and drug paraphernalia items were found in the residence, along with a loaded Ruger LCP 380 caliber handgun.

Both cases are under investigation and were referred to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office for review.
The HIT team includes deputies and officers from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Celina Police Department, and Coldwater Police Department.
