Bond set for contractor in tornado victim theft

TROY — A local contractor accused of taking people’s money and promising to repair their homes that were damaged in the Memorial Day tornadoes was arraigned in court on one count of theft.

Bond was set at $25,000 for Brandon Valandingham, owner of Buckeye Storm Solutions.

His next hearing is Dec. 18.

Valandingham is facing one count of theft.

Investigators told News Center 7 that they are still looking for homeowners who gave contractors money and never received repairs. Call your local law enforcement office to report any similar incidents.
