Aaron Mitchell, 40, was shot three by police in the encounter.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday following his indictment on two counts of felonious assault on a police officer, among other charges.

He is accused of leading officers on a high-speed chase that ended on Diamond Mill Road after his car ran over a tire-deflation devices. Police say he pointed at gun at officers, who then shot him three times.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office said Mitchell on Nov. 30 fired 10 shots at the Clay Twp. administrative building, 8207 Arlington Road, which houses the township’s police department.
