Centerville police and medics were dispatched June 18 to a home in the 8200 block of Rhine Way after a man reported he shot an intruder.

Police surrounded the home and later forced entry but found no evidence of a crime.

Officer John Davis said Johnson was involved with a previous burglary at the residence.

Court records show that he was indicted in April for a burglary that occurred between Feb. 25 and March 8 at the home. He has pleaded not guilty.
