A Dayton man accused of robbing a Brookville pharmacy and writing his demands on page from a parenting book pleaded guilty to charges, according to the Department of Justice.
David Allen Antonio Flemings Jr., 22, pleaded guilty to robbery and possessing oxycodone.
He is facing up to 20 years in prison.
On July 5, Flemings reportedly went to the pharmacy counter at a Rite Aid on North Wolf Creek Street and gave the technician a note.
“Put note back in the bag,” said the note, according to the DOJ. “This a [sic] armed robbery. These are the government pills, not yours or worth your life. I'm willing to kill. Don't push no silent alarms. Fill 2 bags.”
The note also reportedly had a list of specific medications that Flemings wanted.
Workers followed his demands and Flemings left with the pills.
However, he left behind the note, which was had fingerprints that matched Flemings.
The note was page 78 from a book titled “Common Sense Parenting,” according to the DOJ.
