A 38-year-old Dayton man was sentenced to 18 to 21 years in prison Friday.
Chad Barnes was convicted of committing two armed robberies at Marathon Gas Station, 6270 W. Third St.
On June 6, Barnes jumped into a vehicle at Marathon, showed a firearm to the 17-year-old female driver and ordered her to drive away. When she hit the gas, she crashed into a sign and Barnes jumped out of the vehicle.
He then jumped into a second vehicle and held the 75-year-old male driver at gunpoint until he dropped him off at a specific location.
