UPDATE @ 6 p.m. (Aug. 28):

A man and woman accused of sexually assaulting a teen boy pleaded not guilty during their arraignment today in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Amy K. Lewis, 42, and Michael Lewis Jr., 38, of Dayton remain on electronic home detention.

EARLIER REPORT

Neighbors expressed concern after two people from the same home were arrested on sex charges involving a teenager.

The allegations are that 42-year-old Amy K. Lewis and 38-year-old Michael Lewis Jr. sexually assaulted a teen boy between April 2015 and February 2017, according to a statement of facts filed in Dayton Municipal Court.

Amy Lewis is accused of having sex with the teen, and Michael Lewis Jr. of performing a sex act on the boy, who was known to both of them.

Court records show the suspects were arrested earlier this month but released last week on electronic home detention.

News Center 7’s Sean Cudahy went to the address listed for both of them in Dayton. He showed neighbors their mugshots, told them about the charges, and that they were on electronic home detention. They were not happy.

“I want them out. Period,” said Kim Hall. “We have a lot of little children here, we have a lot of teenagers here, we don’t need that crap here. We’re trying to clean this place up.”

Hall said she hasn’t had much interaction with the Lewises, but that she has seen Montgomery County officials at their home recently, and had wondered why they were there.

“If they’re found guilty, they better go to jail. And they better stay there for a long time. This four, five years crap don’t cut it,” she said.

The Lewises are scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 28 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Amy Lewis is charged with nine felony counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Michael Lewis is charged with seven counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and one count of soliciting, all felonies; plus misdemeanor charges of public indecency and six counts of sexual imposition, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

They both were arrested Aug. 7 and released Aug. 12 from the Montgomery County Jail on the electronic home detention program, Dayton Municipal Court records show.
