Aaron Paddock, 18, and William Taylor, 30, both of Dayton, were indicted on several charges including aggravated robbery, kidnapping, felonious assault, criminal damaging, and aggravated burglary.

Taylor also was indicted on three charges of assaulting a police officer, and each of his charges except for the assault charges carries a specification as a repeat violent offender, connected to a 2014 burglary.

These charges spring from an Aug. 21 incident where Dayton police responded to a report of a burglary at a home on Boltin Street where someone had kicked in a door.
