Police: Stabbing victim suffers life-threatening injuries in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 12:30 a.m. (March 5):

A stabbing victim suffered life-threatening injuries and Dayton homicide detectives are investigating, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

FIRST REPORT

A stabbing victim was taken to a Dayton hospital late Monday night.

Police and medics responded around 11:45 p.m. to the area of West Helena Street and Brighwood Avenue.

A man was found with a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to Grandview Medical Center.

According to initial reports, police recovered a knife but no arrests were made.

The victim’s name and severity of his injuries were not immediately available.
