Dayton woman arrested for criminal trespassing after fleeing to hospital locker room

DAYTON — A 32-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday morning for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing after allegedly throwing a brick through a truck window and then fleeing into a hospital locker room.

According to a Dayton police report, Laura Mabelitini threw a brick through the window of her boyfriend's brother's Chevrolet Silverado, then ran inside Miami Valley Hospital.

The father of Mabelitini's boyfriend told police his sons chased her down Apple Street and lost sight of her after she ran inside the hospital.

Officers pursed Mabelitini into the medical imaging women's locker room and found her hiding in a closet, the report reads.

During arrest, Mabelitini kept spitting and refused to comply with officers. She was transported to Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

In addition to disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, Mabelitini was charged with resisting arrest, failure to comply with officers and obstruction.

Her boyfriend's father told police his son plans to press charges for the damage done to the Silverado.
