Robbery suspect threatens to kill Pizza Hut workers, later arrested

HARRISON TWP. — A man threatened to kill employees when he robbed a Pizza Hut in Harrison Twp. Wednesday night, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The man entered the store in the 4200 block of N. Main Street around 11 p.m., announced it was a robbery and demanded money.

A 911 caller said that the suspect, wearing a black ski mask, attempted to get into the back of the store with a weapon hidden under his jacket.

The suspect fled on foot and was arrested by deputies.

According to online jail records, William Copeland was arrested outside the Pizza Hut on a preliminary charge of robbery.

No one was injured in the incident.
