PREBLE COUNTY — The Preble County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a West Alexandria woman reported missing.
Laura Patterson, 52, left her home on foot sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday. It appears she took nothing with her, according to the sheriff’s office.

Patterson works in the Monroe area, but her employer has not heard from her.
She is considered an endangered missing adult because of medical issues. The sheriff’s office did not provide any information about her height, weight, hair and eye color, and deputies said it was not known what she may have been wearing.
Anyone who sees Patterson or who has spoken to her since Thursday is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 937-456-6262.
