No shots were fired, according to the text, which also said "our school will discipline all students involved to the fullest extent."

We reached out to Huber Heights City Schools about the incident, and received the following statement from Zack Frink, communication specialist for the schools:

“A fight broke out in the parking lot between Wayne and Trotwood students on Friday, January 10. A Wayne student brandished a BB gun. Shots were not fired. The police arrested the student and the school district will discipline all students involved to the fullest extent.

“We thank the Huber Heights Police, our own School Resource Officers, and Wayne High School principals, who all responded to the incident immediately.

“This behavior is completely unacceptable. It angers all of us who know that the behavior exhibited by a few students does not in any way represent who we are as a school district or how our students comport themselves on a daily basis. We expect more from our students and we will do better.”
