Jury convicts Dayton man in knifepoint rape of Kettering woman

DAYTON — A 21-year-old Dayton man was convicted Friday night in a September 2017 sexual assault that happened in Kettering.

Jamone M. Henderson Jr. was found guilty as charged by a Montgomery County Common Pleas jury and will be sentenced Dec. 12, a county jailer confirmed.

Henderson was accused of breaking into a woman’s apartment Sept. 24, 2017, and raping her at knifepoint. He was charged with two counts of rape and aggravated burglary and single counts of kidnapping, tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.
