Man accused of stabbing pleads not guilty

A 25-year-old man accused in a stabbing at Lucky's Bar was arraigned this morning on a charge of felonious assault.

Camron Taylor, of Piqua, pleaded not guilty to the charge during his arraignment this morning. His bond was set at $50,000 cash. He remains in jail.

According to Piqua police, a preliminary investigation suggests the stabbing of a 23-year-old man was the result of an altercation that took place

outside the bar around 11:45 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was stabbed in the side. He was taken to Upper Valley Medical Center by a Piqua fire rescue crew and later transfered to Miami Valley Hospital.

He has since been released, police said Monday afternoon.
