Man found bleeding outside McDonald’s was a suspect in earlier stabbing

DAYTON — Police are investigating after a person reported injured outside the McDonald’s on North Gettysburg Avenue turned out to be a suspect in a stabbing that happened earlier Saturday morning.

According to dispatch records, a man was reported bleeding around 6 a.m. outside of the restaurant.

The earlier stabbing was reported at 5:33 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Gettysburg Avenue.

A Dayton police sergeant told our crew on the scene of the earlier stabbing that both people involved were in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
