Man indicted in head-on Dayton police pursuit crash

DAYTON — A 22-year-old man was arraigned Thursday on multiple charges in connection to a head-on crash into a Dayton police cruiser last month during a pursuit.

Arthur Lee Mosley entered a plea of not guilty in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to charges of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, plus a one-year firearm specification; vehicular assault; improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle; having weapons under disability; possession of cocaine; possession of heroin; and possession of fentanyl-related compound.

Mosley was arrested April 18 after the pursuit ended in a head-on crash in the 3500 block of Riverside Drive in Dayton, sending at least two people to local hospitals.

According to police, a blue vehicle rammed an unmarked Dayton police cruiser on Otterbein Avenue near Cornell Drive in Dayton.
