DAYTON — Police released surveillance camera images of a vandal who used a baseball bat and rocks to damage windows and a large planter in separate incidents at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dayton.
Dayton police were called twice in one weekend, on March 16 and March 17 to the church at 140 S. Findlay St.
The first incident was around 8:45 p.m. March 16, when the vandal used a silver Easton baseball bat to break a window before running to a nearby alley.

The second incident happened around 5 p.m. March 17. More windows were broken and a planter was damaged, according to a Dayton police report.
Anyone with information or who can identify the vandal is urged to call Dayton police at 937-333-COPS (2677) or Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP (7867).
Other Dayton houses of worship also have been vandalized in recent months.

On Feb. 28, a vandal used rocks or bricks to break at least three windows at the Al-Rahman Mosque, 26 Josie St., Dayton, and St. Anthony Catholic Church and school, 830 Bowen St., Dayton, was damaged three consecutive weeks in January. Surveillance video showed a vandal used a hammer to break out windows in one of the incidents.

No one has been arrested in any of the vandalism, and police have not confirmed whether the incidents are related.
