DAYTON — A Moraine man is now facing charges in two separate robberies at area Speedway gas stations.

Christopher George Pate was indicted Thursday for robbery in connection to a Sept. 6 incident at a Speedway in Miami Twp.
He remains out of jail on bond but is due in court Nov. 14 for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Three days later, Pate is accused of trying to rob another Speedway in Franklin. Police allege the suspect entered the East Second Street store and gave the cashier a note demanding money but left without any cash after the employee activated an alarm.

A social media tip led police to Pate, who was arrested Oct. 1 for the Franklin case.
