SPRINGFIELD — Police are investigating after a person was found with a gunshot wound in the first block of West Mulberry Street in Springfield, according to Springfield dispatch records.

Dispatch records said that they received the report at 1:51 a.m., and on arrival found one victim, who was taken to the hospital.
Initial reports said that the victim was shot in the arm.
