Riverside police believe that they have found the Ford sedan involved in the shots fired in the EJ’s Lounge parking lot early Friday morning, according to Riverside police Sgt. James Vance.

Vance said that Riverside police have taken possession of a car believed to be involved in a report of two vehicles shooting at each other that led to a pursuit and crash near the Second Street Market.

The sergeant said that the vehicle recovered from the Dayton pursuit matched the description of the Ford that fled from the Airway Road shots fired.

It was a black Ford Taurus with five bullet holes on its passenger side.

When asked about whether police had found the person shot in the SUV, Vance said that person was still missing, but police think, based on where the bullet holes are in the vehicle, that any wounds the person took were grazing. The sergeant said that there wasn’t very much blood in the SUV.
