Scooter-riding Spider-Man arrested for shoplifting

A 37-year-old man dressed in a Spider-Man costume and riding a handicap scooter around Walmart was arrested on theft and drug charges.

Jose Durante was arrested early Monday morning at the Troy Walmart. He was arrested for shoplifting, possession of drugs and failure to reinstate his driver's license.

He appeared in court this morning, where his bond was set at $3,500. He was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.
