>>Police investigating Dayton Shell Station for possible shooting victim
Schloss said that at around 1:40 a.m., a car flagged down police, and the driver said that his passenger had been shot.
The car didn’t stop, however. According to dispatch records, the car drove north on Gettysburg Avenue and then east on West Third Street. The record notes that when the car turned onto West Third Street one tire was flat, and came off shortly before the car stopped in the intersection with James H. McGee Boulevard.
Medics took the passenger to the hospital from that scene.
Homicide detectives have arrived to investigate, although the original scene of the shooting is unclear.
