DAYTON — A University of Dayton student reported that she was sexually assaulted early this morning in the south student neighborhood, according to an advisory the school’s Department of Public Safety sent to the university community.

The student reported the attack happened about 1 a.m. in an unknown location in the student neighborhood, the advisory said. A man the student did not know started a conversation with her as she was walking in the south student neighborhood, the woman told police.

The suspect then took her behind a house and forced her to have sex against her will, according to the advisory.
