TIMELINE: Greene County double homicides

Jan. 15 - A jogger finds a female body laying in the driveway at 4444 E. Enon Road. Police were dispatched to the scene around 3 p.m. Police later discovered a second body at the scene.

Jan. 16- Police identify the two victims as Sherri Mendenhall, 63, and William "Skip" Brown, 44. Mendenhall and Brown were neighbors in the duplex where their bodies were found.

Jan. 18 - Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer holds a press conference and says William "Skip" Brown was the target of the suspects, whom were unknown at the time.

Jan. 20 - Dustin Merrick is interviewed. Investigators seize a 9mm Taurus firearm.

Jan. 24 - Dustin Merrick, 25, is arrested on aggravated murder charges. His 24-year-old brother, Bret Merrick was later arrested on two counts of complicity to aggravated murder and two counts of complicity aggravated burglary.

Jan. 25 - The Merrick Brothers are arraigned in Xenia Municipal Court. Each brother's bond is set at $750,000.
