Trotwood bank robbers were wearing long dread wigs

Trotwood police Deputy Chief John Porter said two black males reportedly robbed the Chase bank in the 5500 block of Salem Avenue this morning.

The two men, both between the ages of 20-25, were both wearing long dread wigs, Porter said.

One male gave a bank clerk a note to clerk demanding money. No weapons were displayed.

The first male is described as wearing light-colored pants, black shirt, black ball cap with a logo, red adidas shoes, and a dread wig.

The second male is described as a light-skinned black male, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a white shirt, black pants and shoes, a green ball cap and long dread wig.

FIRST REPORT

Trotwood police are responding to Chase Bank on Salem Avenue on a reported robbery this morning, according to initial reports.

Officers responded to the business, 5511 Salem Ave., around 9 a.m.

Initial emergency dispatch reports indicated there were two male suspects and they handed a note to the teller.
