UPDATE @ 8:28 a.m. (Sept. 6):

Gregory Creech was arrested at an apartment on Ridgeleigh Road in Dayton on Tuesday morning, several days after an arrest warrant was issued.

Creech is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of OVI after prosecutors said Creech had cocaine, fentanyl and morphine in his system at the time of the crash.

UPDATE @ 2:16 p.m. (Sept. 1):

Gregory H. Creech reportedly was found to have cocaine, fentanyl and morphine in his system at the time of the crash, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

Creech reportedly struck the bicyclist on James H. McGee Boulevard and dragged the man 100 feet.

FIRST REPORT

A Trotwood man has been indicted in a 2015 fatal pedestrian crash.

Gregory H. Creech, 60, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on two counts of felony aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of OVI.

Creech is accused of causing the death of Daryl Lynch, 58, of Dayton, on Dec. 10, 2015. Lynch was a bicyclist that died at the scene in the intersection of North James H. McGee Boulevard and Philadelphia Drive in Dayton.

At the time, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperating.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Creech. He has an arraignment scheduled for Sept. 15 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
