3 people arrested in Miamisburg disturbance; One suspect identified

UPDATE @ 10:40 a.m. (March 30):

One person who was arrested in a property dispute Friday night in the 1000 block of Williams Street has been identified.

Sandy Moore, 31, was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing, according to Miami Valley Jail records. He was also arrested on a weapons violation, but hasn't been formally charged.

We are working to learn the identities of the other two suspects at this time.

UPDATE @ 11:25 p.m.:

Three people were arrested in a property dispute that got out of hand, Miamisburg police Sgt. Josiah Keefer said.

One of the suspects struggled with an officer, which led to the “Signal 99” call for officer assistance, the sergeant said.

Two guns were found, but none were fired or pointed at anyone, Keefer said.

The three arrested were going to be booked into the Montgomery County Jail on various charges, including menacing, obstructing and weapons violations. Their names were not immediately available.

FIRST REPORT

Police issued a “Signal 99” call for officer assistance tonight following a disturbance.

Miamisburg police responded at 10:22 p.m. to the 1000 block of Williams Street. The “Signal 99” call for help was made sometime around 10:30 p.m. and was canceled a short time later.

Police initially were on scene for a weapons offense, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
