The Miami County Sheriff’s confirmed the crash happened in the area of Troy Sidney Road and Rusk Road around 12:19 p.m. and HazMat is on scene.
“A propane truck was trying to cross the road, a van came from the opposite side, t-boned it, hit it in its front section, flipped it over and it rolled into the cornfield,” crews told News Center 7 on scene.
There was a minor propane leak and crews have been on the scene slowly draining out about 3,000 gallons.
Both drivers were transported to Upper Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
