Coe’s mother reported her as missing on Sept. 24, 2017 and in the following years investigators are still searching for answers in her disappearance. Police told News Center 7 they are still working leads in the case and even conducted a search just a few weeks ago in connection to the ongoing case.
“When leads and information come in we’ll follow up on it, we’ve done stuff as recently as the last few weeks,” Miamisburg police Sgt. Jeff Muncy told News Center 7′s Sean Cudahy Monday.

Muncy said the case is now technically a cold case, but Coe’s disappearance is one he does not want to truly go cold.
“I don’t want to let it go cold because I’d really like to find her. But, four years into it, it’s a cold case, we’re not getting as many tips now as we used to,” he said.
Muncy still encourages anyone with information to submit tips to investigators to help them get answers in the case.
“We try to follow up on all the tips but we certainly aren’t getting as many as we used to but somebody knows what happened to her and I would love for them to come forward,” Muncy said.
“I know there’s somebody out there that knows what happened to her, they’re sitting on that information, we’d just like them to come forward and provide that even if it’s anonymously.”

Three years ago police said they had a person of interest in the case. That person was not named or charged yet, and Muncy confirmed the man remains a person of interest in the case.
