TROTWOOD — The City of Trotwood’s Police Department has received national recognition.

The department got national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the city announced on social media.
It has been accredited since 2003.
The intent of the accreditation process is to provide an agency with information to support continuous improvement and foster the pursuit of excellence.
