Crime Stoppers renews request for information about man wanted in 2 shooting investigations

DAYTON — Miami Valley Crime Stoppers has renewed a request to the public for information about the whereabouts of a man wanted in connection to multiple recent crimes, including two shootings, a SWAT standoff, and an assault that injured a woman.

Shaquille Shackleford, 27, remains on the run, and has warrants for his arrest stemming from two shootings, one in Dayton and the other in Moraine. A new warrant was issued for his arrest after he was accused of beating up a woman, according to investigators.

Shackleford was first accused in a shooting at the Red Roof Inn in Moraine May 8. Days later, Shackleford was identified by police as a suspect in a shooting in Dayton on Darst Avenue.

Police were engaged in a SWAT standoff May 12 at a house in Dayton on South Euclid Avenue where they believed Shackelford was staying. However he was not found at the house.
