The police department posted on Facebook Saturday that Officer Burton is now at a hospice facility in Richmond.
Doctors at Miami Valley Hospital took her off life support Thursday, more than three weeks after someone shot her during a traffic stop.
News Center 7′s Brandon Lewis spent time in Richmond Sunday outside the entrance of the police department and there are pictures of Officer Burton all over the property.
Her fiancé, Sierra Neal, shared a video post from their engagement photo shoot on social media Friday.
Neal said she was nervous to take pictures in front of so many people in a public place but Burton helped her through it.
She also kept telling Sierra, “Just focus on me, I love you.”
Officer Burton also would whisper to Neal and make her laugh.

The two were supposed to get married last month.
Sierra Neal posted a video on Tik Tok last month showing her in a wedding dress being escorted to Seara’s bedside at Miami Valley Hospital.
“This walk was supposed to look a lot of different but I will always be thankful we still got to celebrate,” Neal wrote in the caption for that video.
The video has been view over 5 million times.
Lewis reports Richmond Police wrote in a Facebook post Saturday that Officer Burton’s family is grateful for all the community support but would like privacy at this time.
