UPDATE: 2 hospitalized following shooting outside Harrison Township bar

HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 7:55 a.m.

Two people are hospitalized following a shooting outside a Harrison Township bar early Thursday morning.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 4900 block of Old Barn Road, Palm’s Lounge, at 2:19 a.m. on initial reports of a person shot, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office.

Regional Dispatch was told another person shot had also arrived at the hospital.

A fight started inside the bar and then went out to the parking lot where several subjects started shooting each, the sheriff’s office said.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Medics transported one to Kettering Health Dayton and the other victim was at Miami Valley Hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies along with medics were dispatched to the 4900 block of Old Barn Road near Shiloh Springs Road, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

The shooting reportedly happened at the Palms Lounge and Grill parking lot, according to initial scanner traffic.

Medics have transported at least one person to the hospital.

We are working to learn the condition of the victim, what led to the shooting, and if any suspects are in custody.
