PIKE TWP., Clark County — UPDATE @ 11 p.m. (Sept. 23, 2022):
One of the motorcyclists in the crash, identified as 19-year-old Keith Evans of New Carlisle, died as a result of his injuries, according to an online obituary published by the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
Evans was a 2021 graduate of Tecumseh High School, where he played football and wrestled for the Arrows from his youth through high school. He worked for Triec Electric in Springfield and attended Springfield-Clark CTC where he was studying to become an electrician.
He is survived by both parents, two brothers and many relatives.
Visitation, which began tonight, continues Saturday morning at Restoration Park Church in Medway. The funeral at the church follows at noon with burial at New Carlisle Cemetery.
The investigation into the accident is continuing, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
INITIAL REPORT (Sept. 17, 2022):
At least one person was taken by CareFlight to the hospital after a motorcycle accident in Clark County on Saturday evening, according to initial scanner traffic.

Crews were dispatched to the 1800 block of Folk Ream Road about 6:41 p.m. on report of a crash involving a pair of motorcycles.
Video from the scene shows several medics responded to the crash, including CareFlight.
At least one person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight, dispatchers told News Center 7. Their was no word on that person’s condition.
Another person in the crash declined treatment at the scene, according to scanner traffic.
