The incident happened at the Doubletree Suites hotel on Prestige Plaza June 8 around 5:30 p.m., police said in a media release Wednesday. Police were called to the hotel on reports of a hit and run crash, involving people fighting and a bystander.

Officers found two women were in a physical fight at the hotel, and when a bystander threatened to call police, a woman involved in the fight got into a white Toyota car and hit one of the other bystanders with the car, police said. The bystander hit by the car suffered injuries described as serious, according to police.

The other woman involved in the fight also got into the car and fled the scene before police arrived, investigators said.

Police are looking for a white Toyota Avalon with no license plate that is suspected as being the car involved in the incident.

If you have information that can help investigators, you’re asked to contact Det. Scott Miller at 937-531-4062.

Additional details were not released.
