EATON — One woman is facing felony charges after being arrested Sunday following a drug investigation by the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.

Samantha Gardner, 34 of New Madison, was arrested on April 2 after deputies stopped a vehicle on Preble County Line Road, north of U.S. 35.
A Preble County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted them to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle, according to a Preble County Sheriff’s spokesperson.
Deputies found 105 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a cereal box that had other groceries in the vehicle.
Gardner was formally charged with three felonies in Eaton Municipal Court including aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and possession criminal tools, a spokesperson said.
She remains in the Preble County Jail.
