Community members are thanking healthcare workers today with a drive-by celebration and parade.

Those who work in the healthcare field are on the frontlines battling the coronavirus pandemic which is why volunteers want to send a special “thank you” to those who work at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering and Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville.
A “Caravan of Love Parade” will visit Miami Valley Hospital South to spread cheer and support the healthcare team.
Residents from Centerville will show signs of support, blow horns and lift up the team providing care.
The parade begins at Sinclair Community College Centerville campus at 2:30 p.m. before heading to the hospital, located at 2400 Miami Valley Dr. in Centerville.

Around the same time, healthcare workers at Kettering Medical Center will receive drive-by thank yous from volunteers who have organized a Drive by Honk and Honor Celebration.
A fleet of cars will begin at Moraine Country Club before driving in a procession along Southern Boulevard.
Hospital staff will be able to view the drive-by from windows inside the medical center.
The celebration will be from 3:00 to 3:15 p.m. at Kettering Medical Center located at 3535 Southern Blvd in Kettering.
