UPDATE @ 12:23 p.m.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Fairborn Fire Chief Mike Riley.

No one was at home when the fire started.

Riley said there is “significant damage” and the residents won’t be staying there tonight.

Crews from Beavercreek, Huber Heights and Wright-Patterson provided mutual aid.

UPDATE @ 10:45 a.m.

Several fire crews remain on scene of a house fire on Brent Drive and police are blocking traffic on that street.

Crews from Fairborn, Wright-Patterson and a medic from Beavercreek Twp. are on scene.

The one-story home shows heavy damage, including a burned out front window.

Crews responded to a reported structure fire in the first block of Brent Drive in Fairborn.

Flames and heavy smoke were reported coming from a front window at the one-story home.

The fire was reported to authorities shortly before 10 a.m.
