DAYTON, Ohio — On Monday, News Center 7 learned that the Golden Nugget restaurant will be staying closed because of COVID-19.
The restaurant is located on West Dorothy Lane. News Center 7 stopped at the restaurant to see what is next for the family-owned business.

The restaurant has been for sale for more than two years and their realtor just put up a For Sale sign hoping to attract more interest from potential buyers.
The owners of the Golden Nugget said they have plans to reopen, but they don’t want to take their chances with COVID-19.
Stacey Frangomichalos said, “We are taking our time. We’re fearful to open, fear of opening and getting COVID. We’ll be right back where we were and closed for two weeks.”
If the family sells the property, they will open a smaller Golden Nugget restaurant. So far, they have not decided where that will be.
