A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been cancelled for Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby counties.

DETAILED FORECAST:
TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms will move through part of the area tonight, some of which could be strong to severe, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones.
Heavy rain, frequent lightning, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and small hail will all be possible with storms that develop. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for part of the area until 8 p.m.
Most of the rain and storms will taper off after sunset. We’ll stay warm and muggy overnight with lows only falling into the middle 70s.
THURSDAY: Another hot and humid day with highs reaching the low 90s, but the heat index will be between 100 and 105 degrees. A Heat Advisory will go into effect for the entire region from noon to 8 p.m.
Sun and clouds are expected through the day with a small chance for isolated storms later in the day, but a lot of dry time is expected. It will be a little breezy.
FRIDAY: We’ll start go see a bit of a relief from the heat with a cold front that will move through, bringing another chance for showers and storms. Storms will be scattered and could become strong to severe with strong winds and heavy rain.
Storms are expected to increase in coverage in the late afternoon and through the early evening.
Highs for the day will be in the upper 80s but it will be very humid again.
SATURDAY: Low humidity behind the front with clouds clearing out for some sun. Highs in the low 80s.
SUNDAY: Another nice day with highs in the low 80s. Low humidity and mostly sunny.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny, warm, and nice with lower humidity continuing. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with a chance for shower and storms during the afternoon. Highs will be in the middle 80s but it will feel more humid.
