Rose Music Center planning for full capacity, masks optional; other venues also making plans

DAYTON — Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday evening that he plans to lift all state health mandates and requirements beginning June 2.

With his announcement, News Center 7 reached out to several local entertainment venues about what their plans are moving forward.

Management at the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights said, “We are looking forward to opening at full capacity in July. Masks will be personal choice for concert-goer, but not a building policy.”

Officials at The Rose Music Center said more concerts will be announcement in the coming weeks. “We are very excited to open our doors to fan and getting back to live music again.”

Dayton Live said it has been planning for a full-capacity season.

“We are evaluating our plans to fully reopen and look forward to sharing them with the public. We can’t wait to see you all back in our venues to enjoy live performances,” a spokeswoman said.

Dayton Live runs shows at the Schuster Center and Victoria Theatre, among others.

The Fraze Pavilion in has not made any announcements yet following DeWine’s announcement to lift health orders, but is currently making plans.
