WEST ALEXANDRIA — One person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in West Alexandria Monday evening.
Around 8:15 p.m. deputies with the Preble County Sheriff’s Office and medics were called to the first block of North Main Street to reports of a person hit and laying in the roadway, according to initial reports.

One person was taken to the hospital, dispatchers confirmed.
Information about the condition of the person hit or what led up to the crash was not available.
